Bank Mandiri's Net Profit Rises 9% In 4th Quarter
JAKARTA - Bank Mandiri , Indonesia's biggest lender, on Wednesday said its fourth-quarter 2010 net profit rose 9 percent, on strong lending as benchmark interest rates were kept at a record low.
The firm's fourth quarter net profit was 2.82 trillion rupiah ($323.3 million), compared with 2.58 trillion rupiah in the same period a year earlier, Reuters calculations showed based on published full-year and nine month results.
